Sea Scouts “Song for Che” (by hansoffit)
Arguably one of the most important groups to emerge from Australia during the 1990’s, the Sea Scouts (for those who saw them live) were always a force to be reckoned with. On their final ‘official’ show in Melbourne at the Corner Hotel (Friday 18th of February 2000), the Scouts were captured on (6) rolls of Super 8 Kodak Tri-X. If you were there on the night - try and find your head.. it’ll probably be out of focus!
Tim Evans - Guitar/voice
Alex Pope - Bass/Voice
Monika Fikerle - Drums

“Song for Che” - from the album Beacon of Hope (Unstable Ape Patsy 003)
Shot/edited by M.J.Clash
2nd Camera - Jumblereference point: Tim Evans’ band after Mouth (whose cassette I posted a download to earlier in the week). Monika Fikerle’s band before Baseball and Love of Diagrams. Dreamy, noise rock, 90s, diy ethics, cool. Played with the Stickmen, Archers of Loaf, blah blah blah.
